John F. Kennedy International Airport fast track guide

A John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) fast track pass costs $35 per person and typically saves 45–120 minutes compared with the standard line. It covers T1, T4, T5, T7, T8, and the busiest period to plan around is evenings 17:00–22:00 & sundays. Book online in a minute, choose arrival, departure or transit, and your digital QR pass arrives by email with instant confirmation. Show it on your phone at the priority lane; there is no membership or app to install, and everyone named on the booking goes through together.

JFK terminals covered

The pass covers JFK Terminals 1, 4, 5, 7 and 8. Terminal 4 serves Delta and many international airlines, Terminal 5 is JetBlue's home, Terminal 8 is used by American Airlines and oneworld partners, and Terminals 1 and 7 handle a mix of international carriers. JFK is being rebuilt, so airlines sometimes move; always check your ticket before booking.

Terminals are linked by the AirTrain, and connecting between them means leaving and re-entering security.

Arrivals, departures and how this differs from Global Entry

On departure, the pass gives you priority at the TSA checkpoint for your terminal. Screening is the same for everyone. Arriving internationally, it helps at the US Customs and Border Protection hall.

Global Entry is a separate US government trusted-traveler program with its own application, interview and kiosks. This pass is not Global Entry and does not replace it; it is a booking for the priority lane on the day of travel.

Meeting point: Your exact meeting point and the name of your assistant are shown on the QR pass we email after booking.

Busiest times at JFK

Evenings between 17:00 and 22:00 are the heaviest, when transatlantic flights leave together, and Sundays are typically the busiest day. Thanksgiving, Christmas and summer weekends are peak periods.

Planning your trip

The AirTrain JFK connects all terminals with the subway at Howard Beach and Jamaica, where the Long Island Rail Road offers a fast ride to Penn Station and Grand Central Madison. Yellow cabs charge a flat fare to Manhattan, and ride-hailing pick-up points are signposted at each terminal.

International arrivals at JFK can face long waits at US Customs and Border Protection when several transatlantic flights land in the afternoon. Visitors may need an approved ESTA or visa before boarding a flight to the US, and the Mobile Passport Control app can speed up eligible travellers. For departures, the TSA recommends arriving three hours before international flights. Remember that if you connect between terminals, you will leave security, ride the AirTrain and go through screening again, so leave a generous margin between flights. Everyone travelling together should be on the same booking.
