Mornings & holidays
A Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) fast track pass costs $35 per person and typically saves 25–70 minutes compared with the standard line. It covers T1, and the busiest period to plan around is mornings & holidays. Book online in a minute, choose arrival, departure or transit, and your digital QR pass arrives by email with instant confirmation. Show it on your phone at the priority lane; there is no membership or app to install, and everyone named on the booking goes through together.
Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) at Chek Lap Kok handles almost all passenger flights through Terminal 1, a long Y-shaped building with an automated people mover running to the far gates and the Midfield Concourse. Cathay Pacific is the home airline. Distances to remote gates are significant, so time saved at checkpoints helps.
Arriving, the pass gives you priority through Hong Kong immigration. Visitors from many countries can use e-Channel after enrolment, but first-time visitors usually queue at staffed counters, which is where fast track helps most.
Departing, the pass covers priority access at departure immigration and security screening before the gates. Every passenger and bag is still screened.
Meeting point: Your exact meeting point and the name of your assistant are shown on the QR pass we email after booking.
Mornings, when overnight long-haul flights arrive, and public holidays such as Chinese New Year, Easter and Golden Week bring the longest queues.
The Airport Express train reaches Hong Kong Station in Central in about 24 minutes, with in-town check-in for many airlines at Hong Kong and Kowloon stations. Taxis are colour-coded by area, and buses serve most districts. Ferries from the SkyPier link the airport with some ports in mainland China and Macau.
Because Terminal 1 is long, departures from gates in the 200s, 500s or the Midfield Concourse can require a ride on the automated people mover after immigration. Allow at least 20 minutes from security to the farthest gates. Many airlines close check-in 60 minutes before departure. Arriving visitors should have their passport and onward details ready; visa-free stays are available to many nationalities, but rules differ, so check before you travel. During the morning wave of long-haul arrivals from Europe and North America, immigration counters can be busy, and the priority lane is most useful then.
